Animated Video Sig - The Definitive Tutorial - Featuring:
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 Intro:
In this tutorial, we’ll be putting a video clip into a sig (graphic banner)
and saving it as an animated gif. You’ll need Adobe Photoshop CS &
ImageReady CS (or above) to create the gif. Im calling this the “definitive
tutorial” because I will also be linking to two other tutorials and by
referencing all three, everything should be covered thoroughly. This
tutorial will focus on slightly more advanced techniques to achieve the most
stylish sig possible.

Kicking off the resources section of the site, is my first addition called “Foxmarks” (if the title and graphic were not already painfully obvious.) Foxmarks is a firefox add-on that syncs your bookmarks with any other additional firefox add-on you have installed on any of your other firefox browsers. The best use for this, and what I use it for , is syncing your bookmarks between your main PC/Mac and your laptop. (more…)

Molding and Grafting, to me, is a somewhat advanced form of image manipulation and can be one of the first stages of drafting a design. This isnt “skinning”, because skinning would be a process of futher developing a draft completely from scratch, reference material or not. I’ve never heard anyone talk about or seen anyone write about it, so if anyone knows a term that is more accurate or has a link to material created by someone who does the same thing, let me know so I can check it out. I started using this method way back when I could think of an idea but couldnt imagine it in detail.
